Based on the perennial best-selling book by HG Bissinger, Friday Night Lights looks at high school football in the harsh light of reality, finding heart and hardness while stirring our emotions. Actor and director Peter Berg (Very Bad Things, The shading) is Bissinger's cousin, who knows the subject, and how the obsession with the school is transformed into a victory darker, more pressure gladiators - expendable soldiers in a community war against sin and darkness. The fact-based story of 1988 is focused on football season Odessa-Permian high school in West Texas, and like a fast sports movie, Berg offers products with a wonderful, frantic style crowd pleaser. If you think a bigger budget and an A-list producers (Michael Bay) would be Jason's head, so, forget it. Many exiles indestructible bottom-of-the-barrel Shockers has not changed his shtick and 2009, Friday 13 shows. This once more (No, not a remake of the history of origin) for the original 1980 film, gives us a clever prologue that succeeds in installing a whole Jason Voorhees in a plan of killing and blood live 20 minutes. Next six weeks, the film introduces a machine head clueless teenagers for a weekend in a cottage on the lake, a single pilot (Jared Padalecki), searching for his missing sister (Amanda Righetti). When the "lake" refer to Crystal Lake, of course, there can be only one result. Cue the hockey mask, and pass the machete.
